Transforming O2’s digital marketing capability

The challenge

Management of the transition of the O2 digital marketing account from the incumbent agency to VCCP. Note: at the time O2 was the UK’s biggest digital advertiser (Nielsen) and VCCP were Marketing Magazine’s creative agency of the year.

What we did

Led a multidisciplinary team to the successful and timely transition of the account. Formulated and negotiated the digital financial retainer agreement between O2 and VCCP. Hired and line managed team of digital project managers to service the new digital account. Defined and rolled-out new and improved processes. Senior internal (incl. board) and client stakeholder relationship development and management.
